Aims and Goals

The Aim for this portfolio is to help me organize my work, and therefore, make myself better organized. Intended Users of the portfolio is Me (as the owner) the teachers (they may review it) and Parents (For Reviewing as well) My design specs for the e-portfolio a long time ago.

  • It must be able to support most work uploaded on to it.
  • Work and the website itself must be safe and the site should be secure.
  • Easily Accessible from anywhere and is not  overly complicated.

TESTING

On Friday the 29th of February 2013, I will test my Electronic Portfolio by having around 5 Students and One Teacher to look at and examine my portfolio; they will then give me feedback which I will upload on to the portfolio with my work in preparation for the Student-Led Parent Conference, where we show our parents around our rooms and
and show them the work done in the year so far.

Sell Sell Sell!

In one of our units, we created an imaginary shop near the Independence Monument selling computer parts and the owner has enlisted my help in creating and designing advertisement handouts and brochures and business cards, and we updated our progress via a blog (hosted by ‘Blogger’ of Google)

The PUMA Hat’s story

I bought the hat in Malaysia, during a period between 2005-2008, from a Puma shop…it’s a brown one-size-fits-all cap with an overall light brown with a chocolate brown big cat leaping (Puma’s logo) serial no.PSL00319. The big cat’s perimeter is furry.

I took it to a great vacation resort called Club Mèditerranèe AKA Club Med…and one day, me and my father went Kayaking….we were on our way back when the boat capsized….( turned upside down) There were 2 things on board the Kayak…..a large container of lotion, apparently a water bottle, and this very puma hat…both the bottles were lost, and at first I almost left the hat there.

Even though my father was trying to persuade me to leave it & find a newer one, but I wanted to THIS one so we both walked up and down the beach we ended up at, and then I found a weird- looking rock-like object on the beach right next to the water, I called my dad over and I ran to it…That rock turned out to be the hat. I spent some extra time to look for my objects…but it’s clear I won’t find it.

Now in Cambodia…I forgot all about it for sometime…until it resurfaced during my long-term tennis sessions, and it’s now here today.

THE HAT

During the hat wearing, I used a PUMA One-size-fits-all Brown cap…….. It changed my behavior a little, as (I think) I am already caring towards others. When I had it on, I became a bit more helpful…such as holding the door open for longer than I normally would, and before closing it, asked that if there was any others that need to come out.

During Languages, I also assisted in setting up a cooking competition for the next French class, which meant GR. 1/2/3 people and in the set-up I carried tables, chairs, stuck an A4 Paper sheet with Numbers 1, 2, 3 & 4 and one with JUDGES or something written on it.

Role Models & Gr. 7 Representatives

To me, everyone has their good parts and bad parts…….which means that I cannot really choose any of them, all of them have their good parts, like Bannhat’s ability to find good problem solving methods & vocab, but can sometimes, frankly, over-use the complicated vocab and sometimes hides their meanings.
